Great night last week in the Caley Hotel in Portree.  The place was jumping.  Looks like we will be back a few times next year.
We managed to get some photos and these are now posted.
Thanks to everybody who came out in such a cold night.  We skidded off the road a couple of times on the way home in the snow in the van.  A bit scarybut made it back to Kirkcaldy 7 hours later!!
We had a fantastic time and hopefully see you guys again next year.

Been confirmed to play Rally Round Rovers.  A fundraiser to help Raith Rovers it is based on the format of Rock the Rovers with an additional 3 comedians.
The Sunday gig runs from 2 - 9pm.

Sighthill Bowling Club Fundraiser

Great gig in Sighthill bowling club. £1000 was raised in total for a kids charity (I think).
We enjoyed the gig and gave out a few cards.

Didn't know what to expect at the British Legion but the place was buzzing.
The hall is in the middle of a refurb and will look pretty good when the decorating is finished.

Gala Fundraiser Coaltown of Balgonie

Really enjoyed this gig.  The hall is a fair size and the sound was pretty good.
A lot of people had never seen us before so that was good. 

People enjoyed the dancing and we ended up playing till just before 1am!!!

Thanks to everybody who came.  The gala made £406 profit on the night which is pretty good.

Shell Bay

When we arrived at Shell Bay (Elie) caravan park the kids disco was in full swing and there was a prize for best dancer!!! We were tempted to muscle in on the dance floor but I think our Jacko moonwalk rendition would have been too much for them!!!

The clubhouse is a good size hall with a stage.  We set up and the place was very busy.  Lots of families, so loads of people who havent seen us before.  But apparantely there was a buzz around the campsite about how good we were, so no pressure there lads!!!

We managed to coax some people up to dance in the first set and eventually the dance floor filled up. A large majority of people stayed to the end but some with kids filtered away about 11.30pm

Thanks to all the people for the comments it makes it worthwhile.

We have been asked if we would do a couple of dates next year so we will get something sorted out.

We are at Shell Bay this Friday.  Why not pack the camping stuff, get away from it all and make it a mini break.  The campsite is situated just west of elie and is really nice and you get to see us!!! ;-)))

Denbeath

Great gig in Denbeath on Sunday.  It sold out but by 4.30pm there were only around 40 people in?
There had been an open air gig on in another pub (carpark) and people started filtering in and by 5pm the placed was stowed.

We really enjoyed the gig and Dave's throat was almost back to normal we even managed an extra hour!!!

We are also in Invergarry in the highlands for a fund raiser playing in the village hall on Saturday night and looking forward to that.

We arrived a wee bit later than normal and set up pretty quick.  Brian has been avoiding Dave as Brian has larengit, lyringits, eh a sore throat and Dave disnae want it!!!

When we finished the setting at 3.30pm we nipped and got changed and had a quick pint in the bar.  When we went back in the placed was very busy.

Great gig with people up dancing on the floor by the second set. 

Thanks to Laura and Caroline Sommerville for singing a couple of songs with us.  You can catch them in their last gig as Rockhammer at the Kirkcaldy Gala in July.

Time to rest ma throat, now wheres that cider vinegar and honey, boak. :-((((

Fantastic gig yesterday in Wee Jimmies.  Most of the tickets had gone by Saturday and the place was very busy.

When we arrived your heart always sinks a wee bit when you see stairs but after a coupl eof red bulls its easy humfing gear!!  The stage is triangular but just big enough for Brian and the drums so me a Bill were on the floor.  The sound in the place is very good.

We went for our "customery pint in another pub before we play", its a habid we always do time permitting.  We kicked off about 4.45pm and after a few drinks we got people up on the relatively big dancefloor and soon it was full.

We had a ball and it was good to see so many faces at the gig.  We know times are hard and it makes us appreciate the effort people make to come out to gigs all the more.

Sorry to the people would didn't get a ticket but they could let anymore in.

The Sun is out and what better way to celebrate being on Holiday tomorrow than to come along to Bowhill Club this afternoon. We are going to stick in a few extra songs so should be a good one.
Last Sunday was brill and hopefully we can make this a great gig as well.
