Booking the right band for your wedding is extremely important. You need a band to be reliable, professional, flexible and above all entertaining.

No1SUN's popularity from the pub/club circuit has seen them establishing themselves as a popular wedding band.
The band play a wide selection of material to suit most tastes from disco classics to modern chart music.

The band will liaise with the future bride and groom and the venue to ensure that the music fits in with the reception schedule and No1SUN actively encourage people to come and see them playing live before booking. All the bookings taken for the band have been through people seeing them play live or from recomendations.

No1SUN will provide everything required for the music for the evening including PA and professional lighting and also provide background music during any breaks.

First Song
The first song is very personal to the newly married couple and if possible No1SUN will play it live, or will play it via the PA system.

Typical Reception Schedule

Last Song
Almost as important as the first song is the last song.

At the end of the evening a normal send off would be where the Bride and Groom are in the centre of the dancefloor and their guests form a circle around them and send them off with either:

Loch Lommond - Run Rig
or
500 Miles - The Proclaimers (or both)

But if there is a special song that you would like to end on then just let the band know.

Hi guys,

Hello All!

Just wanted to thank you all for your performance on the night of our wedding! As we said, we booked everything for our wedding through the Internet, and it was always going to be a gamble, however everyone we used, from the flowers, Fernie Castle, My make-up artist, Hairdresser, was perfect! You guys just exceeded our expectations, and we cannot thank you enough for an amazing night, we will NEVER forget it! You played all the songs we love, and your rendition of The Proclaimers 500 miles was brilliant!

All our guests loved you, and have not stopped commenting about how great you were….especially my Dad! So a huge thank-you to you all. We can see why all your gigs are packed full.

Chris and I just wanted to thank you again for the excellent night we had
for our wedding party.

No1 Sun were brilliant and went down a real treat! Everyone was asking who
you were and where you came from. And all said you were really good. You
really did appeal to everyone, all ages from Lennox to the oldies! It takes
alot to get all Chris's friends on the dancefloor, but I think you managed
